Been on it for almost a week, and never been so depressed (already have depression) but this is something else. Been put on it cause my nurse thought I'd get blood cloth as I have high blood pressure. I'm 31 ffs!
Does it get better or am I just going to be so depressed?
Sorry to learn that you're feeling really down. I've no experience of that particular drug, but having checked it out, it can affect your mood as well as other things. Were side effects not discussed with you? As you've a history of depression, go back and tell them. With regard to blood clots you are limited to which birth control pill you can take.... have you considered the coil?
I’m glad somebody else felt the same on it because when I went back to the doctor to say it was making me depressed which at that point I had never suffered with depression so it was defo something the pill was causing, she said to me oh that’s strange, this pill is supposed to either not effect mood or elevate it which I personally think is absolute rubbish considering I have known a few other women to struggle with depression on this pill! For me it was like a rollercoaster mood, but when it went low it went soooo low but I did change to the combined after 3/4 months because I couldn’t cope with the other effects I had
