So I take a combined pill, 21 days on 7 off, it’s called Levest. I’ve never taken contraception pills before. Can I start it before I start my period? I read that you didn’t have to start it during your period you just have to give it a bit longer to take effect, is this true?

Yes of course, you are not protected for the first 7 days , if starting after day 5 of your cycle. fpa.org.uk/sites/default/fi...
