Changing Pill

I have just changed from the combined pill (Ridgivion) to the Desogestrel 28 day no break pill. Any tips/warnings. I had my period last week which ended on Sunday and I have just started taking this new pill Monday. Will I get a period while taking this pill/when? Also am I still protected as I came straight from the other pill to this one?

Whoever gave you the new pill should have covered this with you.

You are still protected as switching straight across.

What your bleeding patterns on the new POP will be , its impossible to predict. You can have everything from regular bleeds, to no bleeds at all, to light spotting every day.
