Sick whilst on the pill

hi

so on saturday morning i took my pill at normal time 9am this is my first pill back from my 7 day break, i was sick at around 12-2pm and then was sick later in the day from a tummy bug. will my pill have been in my system by that time, i didnt take another pill but ive continued to take my next day (sunday) and the following days after at 9am again but had sex today will i be protected? ive been on this pill for around 3 years now
