Hair loss and acne

I had the copper coil fitted 4 weeks ago because I don't get along with hormones. Since then my hair has been falling out in clumps, im fatigued and I am getting hormonal acne all over my chin which I never get!? I'm at the point where I'm genuinely scared to wash my hair in case it falls out anymore.

The only expected symptom I'm getting is painful periods, the rest all seems really hormonal or even thyroid related.

Has anyone else experienced these types of issues after having the copper coil fitted?

It is highly unlikely this is due to the IUD, the amount of copper is tiny, and its localized within the womb space, not released into your circulation. . As you said, you should have other investigations for hormonal issues.
