Copper IUD -Anyone with similar experience?

Hiya! I hope you are all well.

Has anyone with a COPPER IUD experienced or feel any of these?:

* Even though it's non-hormonal, your hormones are completely messed up

* moments of deep sadness or depression, especially when due on or on

* coming on every 2 months instead of monthly (the first 6 months were normal. Now every 2 months)

*noticing slightly more hair

Please share your thoughts...

Hi I had one fitted yesterday.it wasn't what I had gone hospital for.it was literally sprung on me.

Mine isn't a copper one.

I am asking for it to be taken out TODAY!

Cramping all night,guess it's your body trying to expel a foreign body, which it is.

After reading the bad bits. . I'm NOPE.

Hope it works out for you,though bit different scenario.

Have read how these coils can be life changing (my eyes for the very worst)there are some people who think there fab.

Did you know doctors have an incentive to fit these? they get £70.00 each one fitted.it costs the nhs £88.00 to give you one(a whole lot cheaper for them than medication for 5 years!

Hope things change for you and get better.(also for.me I don't want.it getting embedded to my uterine wall

I've read a lot about people with same symptoms as yours they go to the Drs and get them removed and get Presto!

They get their life back.

Be prepared if you go down that route,as the gp may try to fob you off ,and nayge say its not being caused by coil. . . But it is.all the best

I have a copper coil. I haven’t experienced an unusual side effects and I’ve had it almost a year now. Periods are regular as clockwork every 26 days. I have had no issues at all.
