So my mums just found out I'm sexually active, and I've been on the pill for a while but she isn't aware of that. I didnt tell her because she is very funny with this sort of thing and shes extremely difficult to talk to. But now, she wants to take me to the clinic to get "put on" the pill. Is there a way the nurse can prescribe me an extra pill packet or something to make it look like it's my first time doing it? And am I the only person allowed into the appointment? Knowing my mum she will want to go in. Many thanks

Ok so no matter what are you are over the age of 13 you are entitled to attend the clinic on your own . If your mum wishes to be in the room with you, you have to give permission. If you have been getting the pill somewhere else, they wont know its your first time and you can just pretend that it is . If it is the same place as you have received it before , then everything is confidential . You could try to speak to them first to explain the situation . If it is a sexual or reproductive health clinic , they sometimes have a dedicated nurse for young people.
Im 20, yes I know it's stupid- and it would be the GUM clinic I always get my pills from as it's the only place in my area that deals with sexual health- I'm hoping I could go in and bring two of my packets with me and ask them to cover the sticker with a new one and write that perscription date on it???
I'm sure they could provide you with a box of three months supply, so long as you have had your weight and blood pressure checked recently. They are usually quite flexible
