Birth Control Nightmares?

I am an 18 year old female who recently began the birth control pill. I have used it before about 8 months ago and not to my attention had any issues with it. I recently moved in with my boyfriend and decided to start using the pill again, this time im having troubles nearly every day. Ive been having nightmares of mostly losing the people i love or the people i love going against me. Ive had 3 nightmares in a row this week and im wondering what the cause is. I dont have anxiety that i know of, i am aware that is a cause for nightmares and a side effect from the pill. The only thing i can think of that has changed since i started having nightmares is that i started using the pill. I wondered if anyone had heard of or even had this problem before and if it is the pill causing it?
