Hello I had my test for chlamydia recently and the gave me the antibiotics I took them but I still having a bad pain in my lower belly and I feel like something is burning and itching inside my vagina, its been less than a week but I've been reading that the symptoms disappear really quickly after you took the antibiotics.

Also I had the in the same week to tests one of them came as positive and the other one came as negative.

I'm really worry about having pelvic inflammatory disease basically I went to my GP with this problem over 6 months ago but just a week ago they were able to find out the chlamydia.

Pelvic inflammatory disease is a clinical diagnosis i.e. there is not a test to diagnose it. If you have had pelvic pain with a known chlamydial infection you should have 2 weeks of doxycycline plus 2 weeks of metronidazole. Your partner if you have one needs to be treated also regardless of their test result. If you have less than 2 weeks of antibiotics you need to go back to the GP practice to get them . And of course presuming there is no pregnancy risk
