Hi everyone,

I just wanted to jump on here and ask some advice. (hope its not too TMI)

I've been on the POP for about 4/5 months. From day one my periods have been irregular but I still bleed once or twice a month. In June, I didnt bleed at all and still haven’t.

Would anyone worry about this (pregnancy wise)? Anyone had a similar experience?

Many thanks in advance for any help

Hi Laura,

If you haven't missed pills more than twelve hours from when you should take them, you should be fine. One of the disadvantages of the POP is the fact bleeding patterns can be erratic, from nothing to daily bleeding. If in doubt, do a pregnancy test . But it can be normal to have no bleeding for months on the POP
