hey guys, I recently went to my yearly checkup at the Gyno and found out I had chlamydia. This was a total shock for me as I have been in a relationship and loyal for two years. Long story short my boyfriend cheated (I left him). I also didn’t know that you could NOT have sex for seven days after taking the medication. I got drunk and had sex with someone new not knowing about the 7day rule. Do I still have chlamydia?

If you completed the antibiotic therapy, hopefully it should be cleared. However if you have had unprotected sex with the new contact, its possible you could have acquired a new infection. It would be worthwile retesting at least two week after your treatment
