Chlamydia test positive

I am married 25 years old. I was recently detected with chlamydia. I am with my wife for 25 years old. How is it possible?

I have not played!!! My wife neither (i know for sure since she can not leave house due to some technical limitation) . Is it possible to have from my previous relation before 20 years or to be infected from something else than sex?

I suggest that you wait a month from the original and have another test. The results are not 100% reliable and another test may have different results.

Has your wife been tested?

What led to you having the test when you are in such a stable relationship?

My wife was detected positive after a routine urinalysis

Then my advice about a second test also applies to your wife but it is much less likely that you would both have false positives.

It is possible for chlamydia to survive in the body undetected for a long time but it would be unusual if it survived over 25 years without causing symptoms. Having said that, either of you might have had symptoms and not realised that they were linked to the condition.

I suggest you review the lists of possible symptoms for men and women and using hindsight consider whether you may have had bouts of chlamydia symptoms in the past.

After reading symptoms i maybe had some of those but to a minor degree. If it is no only transmitted by sex then i am curious if it was inside me in the last 25 years. ..
