So I had the copper coil fitted 3 months ago and have only had 2 periods.. I belive it has stopped them now and I’m not having any, has anyone else found this?

I have the hormonal coil, rather than the copper one - the coil can stop your period altogether which is why I had mine fitted.

HOWEVER lots of things take around 3 months to settle, and I was told to give the coil 6 months just to be doubly sure.

the copper coil should not stop your periods. You have however had 2 in the three months since the insertion, so sounds normal . If you are worried go to a reproductive health service and get a coil check to ensure it is still in place , or consider doing a home pregnancy check. Also other body reasons ( like over active thyroid, stress , major weight loss etc ) can make periods light or stop them
