Cerelle...

Hi All,

I have been on Cerelle for some years and decided to come off to give my self a break from the pill, after a few periods I decided to go back on (I forgot how painful i got them) Instead of waiting till my next period I just started my pill again a week or so after I finished, I am 13 days in to my pill and today i have started my period, ( would have been my start date if I was not on the pill) I only have a 26 day cycle. Considering that I have a bleed.... I do not have period symptoms I normally get, sore breasts, chronic period pains, feeling sick. Just a slight bleed. When I was on Cerelle before I never had 1 period.

I am guessing that the reason I am having a bleed is down to maybe been through my cycle so that's why its happened.. any one else think this ? And am I protected again ? I get so confused at times with the pill

I would imagine it's your body getting used to the hormone again. I've only been on it 11 months. I had at least a 6 month settling in time such as lighter monthly bleeds then nothing for 2 months then 4 weeks of bleeding now nothing - fingers crossed. Also the packet says 7 days of taking it to be protected if not on day 1 of period
