Long period and copper coil

I got the copper coil 3 months ago and my period were heavier but getting better. My period finished after 67days then after half a day started again its been 2 weeks is that normal?

6-7days?or 67 days?.... If 6-7 I wouldn't count this as a particularly long/heavy period..... 67 is a different matter....

Check it with your nurse maybe?

Yes 6-7 days taking into account half a day break period has now been 2 weeks and still going

The 6-7 days is fine... especially if you've had the copper T only 3 months ago. It usually takes a little time to set in, all hormonal contraceptives have that trait. However, the reappearance of your periods doesn't sound healthy at this point. Is it like normal period in intensity or simple spotting? Do you feel pain or itchiness? Any other observation that might be significant in this regard? Did you talk to your Dr about it? If it's only spotting then there's still a chance that it's just the typical hormonal contraceptive trying to set in but if otherwise get an appointment and get checked. Sometimes it's just a normal infection at the site of IUD or a displacement that might cause the bleeding. The clinic will take care of it. If at all needed they might even change the brand to something smaller that will suit you better. It's already been 2 weeks, best not to delay any further!
