Hi i stopped taking the progestogen only pill nearly 60 days ago and I have still not had a period. I did a pregnancy test and it came back negative. Surely I should have had a period by now? Any advice would be appreciated

About 18months. Ok that's fine then. I read that it should return after 45 days. Thanks

I'm not a medic of course.

You could ask yr gp nurse, but I do think it could be a while.

Good luck! ☺

There should be no effect on your fertility or periods after stopping the pill so I would advise going to a family planning clinic/ GUM or GP to look at other causes that your periods have not restatrted, as stopping the pill should have no effect.
