Genital warts, new relationships

Hi I'm a 21 female, just been diagnosed with warts/herpes tho I have had them couple of months and let them spread cos I was too scared and embarrassed to find out what they were! So stupid I know! Anyway going for treatment next Tuesday..Really nervous what it will involve?! How long will it take and how effective? Also anything I can do at home to speed up healing and prevent spreading? I am in a fairly new relationship with a guy that I'm crazy about and don't want lose him as worried he might freak out if I tell him! Any advise what to do in this situation? Like do I have to tell him!? What should I say!? We haven't had sex yet it's early days but things are moving pretty fast and don't know how to handle this...Thanks.

Sit down with your partner and just be honest. He will be a lot more happy knowing right away. Also you can use bath salts with warm water twice a week that should help.

Hey. I've had HPV with genital warts for 5 months. I started dating the most incredible man I've ever met at the very beginning when I started showing symptoms. The best thing you can do is be honest and let him know. First, go to the doctor and make sure it is what you think. Then tell him. If he truly cares about you and wants to be with you, he'll stay regardless of the HPV. Don't forget--- this doesn't define you. You are more than HPV or HSV.
