Hey, can anyone advise please....after sex my boyfriend ends up with a tear just under the head of his penis. This happens so easily, as though the skin there is extremely thin. It's extremely sore for him and he is now very reluctant from having any kind of sexual contact because of this!
There is no way either of us could have an STI, well I'm 100% it's not me...haha, but wondered if I could have thrush or something that could cause this?
He went to the gp a while back who prescribed him some cream of some sort, which surprise surprise didn't do a thing (just £8 down the drain!). Before we trundle off to the local sexual health clinic (gulp!), can anyone advise anything????

It sounds like he *might* be tearing the frenulum (the 'banjo string') at the front of the penis... this isn't that uncommon... so don't worry...! But... without an examination it's impossible to diagnose the cause of the tearing.
I would, actually, get your boyfriend to go and see the local clinic. Your local clinic is *not* just about having a disease or infection - they're just experts about "down there", and should be able to advise your boyfriend. Go see an expert - the local clinic is where they hang out - and don't worry too much... they will tell him the possible causes, his options, and what he can do... [this may be something as simple as using lube...]
