Hiya, I hope everyone is as pain free as possible. Just a quick question - how many of you ladies have had an MRI or CT scan to help with the diagnosis and how deep endo is to enable their treatment plan? Thanks xx

MRI and CT scan???
Hi, I had MRI which showed deep infiltrated endo of recto vaginal nodule. However, it didn't show the nodule I had on my bladder, which was clear from a picture taken at diagnostin lap. So it helps but doesn't show all endo. x
I have a couple of times. They are very experienced and know what they are doing. It's fairly deep but not painful or even uncomfortable. It's nothing. Worry not.
I haven't had any scans in regards to my endo. I had a diagnostic lap nov 13 where my consultant diagnosed deep endo, I had this treated April 14 and then after having no pain relief at all from the surgery my consultant diagnosed adenomyosis 15 months after the April 14 op. I had the hysterectomy April this year and I'm in so much more pain than I was before😞 I've recently found out that the pathology showed no adenomyosis and no endo in my cervix and tubes which were also removed. I'm wondering should I have had a MRI scan before having such major surgery? I really wish I did my research before I had the hysterectomy - but it's too late now😞 anyone have any advice? I was treated at a BSGE centre xx
