HELP!!

I've been on the. Marina coil for nearly 2 years now! I recently had my first period in a year and a half and the doctor said they don't know why it happened, anyway it lasted 3 months and then stopped, however I've started bleeding AGAIN!

Is this normal? Why is this happening :( it's such an annoyance!
