Hi eflie,

I'm sorry you had a difficult time filling out the form. A lot of people have complained about the nature of such form and the way in which they 'interogate' others. On top of this, autism is a highly mis understood condition. A lot of parents are penalised for how they bring up their children because often the child's behaviour is misunderstood. (My Mum's side of the family often used to nag at my Mum for my behaviour - I still feel mis understood by them :( alongside teachers about how my parents brought me up and the opportunities they gave me to experience different things).

You are a good parent. Just trying your best for your son. Never forget that. Remember, autism is getting increasingly better recognised all the time, and society has a duty of compassion to help others. Things will easier too, remember that.

Just look at me (I mean this in a figurative sense :) ) and remember that he will grow up as someone to be highly proud of. :) We're special, ya know, children and parents have to work harder than people realise. Ok, I'll stop rambling now. :) xx

Hi Elfie,

Wel done for getting somme help. It is not easy to admit that we are struggling, but thankfully there is some help out there.

I know the form seems a bit intrusive, but I would like to encourage you to just be as open and honest as possible. Remember this is for your son - to help him achieve his potential and to get the help he needs.

Good luck with your applicaiton!
