I’ve been given this link by shout after feeling suicidal after a late diagnosis I felt so much hate towards people for not noticing for so long with all the struggles and me telling people there is something else and now I have no support as I’m 19 and not in school. I don’t know what to do?!

Hi there,
It can seem daunting getting a diagnosis and then it feeling like there's no support.
The National autistic Society may be able to help.
Call 0207 833 2299 (Monday to Friday 9am-12pm and 1-3pm) Or you could email them
Or your local Ctizens Advice Bureau
In my area there is a Disability Services (you might have one near you also) that has been great in helping one of my daughters and there is also something called a social prescriber attached to the GP's surgery.
You might have a specialist autism group in the area (we don't where we live) that could help too. You could have a google to see what comes up near you. Did the team who did the assessment give you any useful numbers? We got a couple that came with the written diagnosis so there might be something with that, it might even be on a leaflet in the envelope.
Agree with Bee - bop, pop to your Gp, my adult Son is under AMHT, Care Coordinator, OT, STR, Social prescriber, really worth a chat & don't hold back on what you feel your Needs are. X
