Yesterday I had minor surgery for carpal tunnel which I thought it was a place in France but apparently it has lots of causes but one of them is using a walking aid. Has anybody had this before and came up with a brilliant solution. I have few ideas but can’t put them into action until the hand recovers 😵💫
Stay strong.

It’s a problem for one reason or other the muscles in your hand/wrist starts to put pressure on nerves causing pain, pins and needles, weakness etc there are different ways it can be put right but the final way is day surgery it takes about 20 minutes and 2 to 4 weeks to fully recover. My right hand is heavily bandaged which doesn’t help when you have ataxia 🥸.
Hi Paul456. Don't know much about carpal tunnel (think it's something to do with hands?) But I had problems with hand cramps when driving and in general. Neuro physiotherapist gave me left and right handed crutches to use. The crutches help to reduce and relieve pressure on a specific part of the hand.
