Morning all,

A friend has recommended JuicePlus vegetable and fruit capsules for their antioxidant properties. She swears by them, had lots more energy and frankly looks great on it. She does not have Ataxia though and I’m wondering if anyone on here has tried them. They’re quite pricey and I’m reluctant to shell out on potential snake oil.

Advice gratefully received. I have FA and also trying to shed my excess lbs

Good morning! It has also been recommended to me by a friend. I'm looking into it. As they are expensive she suggested I start with the omega and berries. I have SCA6

Hi dansybelle, the web says, “It's clever marketing using deceptive advertising. ”

I take a fish oil and COQ10 for omega health benefits. Vit. B 12 5000 mg. Plus Tru Niagen, which I love. I have SCA6.

These all give me energy and I focus better.

I do a morning smoothie with organic coconut milk ( less sugar, fat and calories)

Half a banana, frozen pineapple chunks, 1 Tbsp ground flax seed, 1 Tbsp hemp seed and 2 Tbsp chia seeds. Tastes like a pina colada. I add some water too because I don’t like a thick smoothie so half milk half water. Like 1/4-1/2 cup each. Do what you like. Can mix up fruit too, blueberries or strawberries.

Good luck

Tina

Sounds good. I take omega, iron tablet, vit C, and an orange / day. Where’d you get the Niagen—is that anti-oxidant?

Hi Brett I get it online. It improves cellular health. I’ll try to send the web page. You can read about it and see if you like it. truniagen.com
