Grain free

Hi all. Is there anyone with gluten ataxia that has gone a step further and is grain free too now? If so how do you feel and are your symptoms improving? This is a really restrictive diet but I am already gf and dairy free and have been for 3 to 4 years and a bit disappointed that although the ataxia symptoms have stabilised they are not now getting better. Maybe it is because of my age and the many years of eating gluten has taken its toll. I have decided to try a grain free diet too but experience tells me that it can take weeks or months to have an effect.

Apart from wheat, rye and barley that are classically implicated with gluten, the other grains have different forms of gluten too. It is worth trying as I have recently noticed the early symptoms of ga have come back slightly.

If there is anyone else doing this please say. Thanks.
