I have just joined your site.

Have ataxia due to small infarcts to cerebellum noted in scan in 2000. Take statin and blood thinner. Have never been able to consult doctor or neurologist, due to problems with accessing surgery since covid.

. I am joining you for advice, and help from fellow sufferers.

A member of my local group also had a stroke in their Cerebellum…

My own diagnosis is Idiopathic/Sporadic Cerebellar Ataxia ..so far testing hasn’t linked me with any specific type.

Access to a doctor, never mind a neurologist, is impossible nowadays, due to the state of the NHS!
