SCA6 and sleep

Hi everyone, I’ve noticed lately my husband will get up for work at 7:30 am I’m awake, then I fall back asleep until 10 or 11am. Completely out! I used to get up earlier. Does anyone else feel they are sleeping more? My body must have needed it because I was in a deep sleep. I feel like I’ve slept half the day away...

HiMy partner has SCA5 and he can be like that, he does set an alarm sometimes it will wake him other times he will sleep through it, when it does wake him he will check his phone, maybe play a game then go back to

Sleep until anything up to 2pm, if the alarm doesn’t wake him he can literally sleep through until 2pm, if he sleeps too late I will wake him, we try to settle to Sleep at night at around midnight.

He is generally always tired, if we are up early going out or something it can sometimes take him 3-4 days after to catch up on sleep.

Thank you. Going out wears me out too. Good luck too.

Hi MneutzI have SCR 6 inherited from my mum as well. My sleep patan changes on a regular basis but if you sleep it’s because you need it and as you know sleep is essential to us humans so it will be doing you a lot of good.

The winter might have a little to do with it as well.

As I’m male my SCR 6 is of course a lot worse than yours it’s one of the difficulties us men have to put up with, but do we moan………… of course we do my little dog has ran away 5 times 😂👍🏻

You take care my friend 😊

update on my fatigue : I am now taking 4 DMA 7,8 DHF. It’s a flavonoid. Helps immensely to fight fatigue. Highly recommend this to anyone struggling. Read up on it. I’ve been on since 1/2023. It’s a natural supplement. I get through Amazon. Thanks for listening.
