PIP Court battle won

It's took a year but finally we went to court on Wednesday and came out smiling. My partner was originally given low rate mobility only by the assessor for DWP and no daily care. After a years fight on my hands to get him what he certainly was entitled to we came out of court with high rate daily care and low mobility. Please never give up and take these people to court as they are just trying to deter paying you what you are entitled to.

Excellent result Alip-j, after a year fighting in court, so well deserved, your partner is lucky to have you fighting on his side..... I get DLA. 😀

Brilliant result, well done! They gave me 0 points whatsoever even though I’ve got loads of letters from my neurologist and they came to my house and saw me using loads of aids. Plus they know I use an electric wheelchair sometimes. Infuriating! So I’m going to tribunal now! Good to read your story.

Never give up.Look through all the questions and point system and you have to get evidence e.g. Are you capable of cooking a hot meal.If you say with aids the points are lower. If you need someone to be with you to assist in case of injury you score higher. The consultant wrote that he does not recommend cooking. You need either Disability Direct or Citizens advice with you.Go for it.Feel free to inbox if you need any advice.
