Overactive bladder in cerebral ataxia

Hi
I have SCA3 and have been using once a day, in the evening. 1 tablet 60 mg of Trospium Chloride. Works a treat..
Morning Helen, when I saw the Ataxia nurse she referred me to my GP about prescribing an anticholinergic.
Hope this helps.
GOOD LUCK
hi, I use tropsium chloride. One every evening before bed. It really does work. Also doing bladder retraining with a midwife at the moment and haven't had a little accident for 2 weeks now🙂
Thank you Capricorn9157 and wibblywobbly. That’s really helpful.
The supplement pumpkin seed extract or Go Less works for me.
Thank you cghere
My doc referred me for a (painless) cystoscopy. After, the Consultant recommended I drink de-caf tea etc, and prescribed oestrogen to strengthen the urethra and bladder muscles. This has helped tremendously, I no longer have 'accidents', and only have to get up once during the night as opposed to 6/7 times!
Good luck!
