How does Chamomile Tea affect Cerebellar Ataxia type 1? - I am not very bright in these situations as I am 16 and do not have much knowledge on cardiovascular diseases.
Chamomile Tea: How does Chamomile Tea affect... - Ataxia UK
Chamomile Tea
Hi iller - Green tea has considerable research showing it is beneficial for helping cells stay healthy and in one study researchers even found that people with Parkinson's who drank 2 cups of green tea a day had a delayed onset of symptoms. There is no research directly linked to ataxia type 1 but I think if you are looking for simple home items that MIGHT be helpful then green tea is one simple food that can't hurt.
Can you tell me a little more about your situation? Are you still able to run? Have you had a dna test and do you know your CAG repeat count?
Joe
You can ignore my questions. I found your other post and will reply there!
Hello! Thanks for the answer and your time. So: I can not run anymore; I can walk a little bit but I am feeling weaker and not able as time goes; I have jerky movements; I do not choke all the time but when I do, I can handle it; I can talk for quite a while it can be slurred and not clear but I am understandable; trouble eating and performing other fine motor tasks as my body is really shaky.
