The worsening of my nystagmus has had an adverse effect on my balance. An eye examination suggested that prisms in glasses would not help and I had more or less resigned myself to accepting that nothing could be done. Then I read about a new, experimental procedure at Moorfield Eye Hospital where magnetic plates were inserted below the lower lid of the eye to regulate 'dancing eyes'. The results were very pleasing. I wondered if anyone had more information, or has visited a neuroopthalmologist?

🙂 I just logged onto Moorfields because I hadn't heard of this procedure Margaret. They're looking for volunteers to take part in a larger study🙂xB
🙂 Anyone interested in taking part in clinical trials should see ukctg.nihr.ac.uk 🙂xB
