Many people are intolerant to cows milk I'm ok however choose goats milk which is gentler on the system.

The skimmed, semi skimmed etc refers to the level of fats in the milk.

Goats are closer to humans biologically I think ie one stomach like us not 4 as in a cow! I often wonder why it's ok in society to drink cows milk when the thought of cars, dogs even breast milk would turn the stomach!! Now that's bizarre humans for you lol

I've never read or heard one way or another whether milk is good or bad for ataxia. I occassionally drink skimmed milk, although as a rule I drink almond milk, as I'm basically dairy free. I believe it's a personal preference...,;o)

Hi - I don't know much yet on the ataxia facts of better or worse things .

But I can tolerate and do prefer semi skimmed milk .

This is just me though .

As febuary says it can very much be a personal taste or own preference/need thing ?

There is a lot to consider of exactly "what can affect" our tollerances and

our bodies isn't there .

I am wheat intolerant - I have found with especially white bread/pasta,carbs,starches ...

I have totally eliminated these out of my foods to eat .

Doing this makes my life easier with both meals in or meals out .
