Can anyone sneeze when standing (not holding on to anything) without falling over?
Nope! Not here!
Hello Ian.
why have you done such a (silly) thing ?
If you had bought (used) the indoor-rollator I suggested
elderluxe.com/store/item.as...
nothing of the sort would have happened.
Greetings
Jurgen
I have an indoor rollator Jurgen. The sneeze caught me by surprise. I was standing next to it at the time.
Hopefully, dear Ian, nothin g really serious happened.
As I mailed : my doc found out about my high fracture risk =
I have become VERY VERY careful since when being wheel chair bound
my life wouldn´t be the same anymore

Not me.Grab hold of everything now.
standing ??? naaaaah A sneeze nearly throws me out of my chair !
It's become almost a major event lately.
I find I cannot stand still at all as I need to keep walking. If I pause even for e moment in walking slowly I need to be holding on to something. Sudden sneezing will put me off balance too. Basically I sit down, be it on chair or rollator as soon as I get to destination in or out of the house.
Hope that you fall on breakfast bar was a one off. Take care Ian.
Best wishes
Its happened to me a couple of times Lanarkian. Fortunately though no serious injuries.
No chance - novel way of getting your Rice Krispies! RB
The amount of times I've been working, sneezed, and then hit my head on the desk is ridiculous.
Sudden bursts of sneezing seems to happen in cycles with me. By chance, most
occur while sitting down. Perhaps we would be better with weights to stabilise
us, like divers!
Bubble wrap suits should do the trick. What do you think eh!
I guess they could catch on! Might look quite kitsch!
Guess they would Harriet, but effectve. Could have fun rolling about the floor popping the bubbles. lol
Have a look at this link. stitchesandseams.blogspot.c...
How theraputic is popping bubble-wrap? They should have it on prescription.
Stitchesandseams looks interesting!
Hello Iain
I now use a wheelchair but I stilll need to hold the arms. Before I used a chair I had to hold on to something.
I don't think the bubble wrap will catch o!!!
Take care
