Hi Kay, I'm sorry you're going through this anxious period at the moment. COPD can give rise to anxiety and depression due to the nature of the condition, it also does cause tiredness and fatigue as you use more energy to actually breathe. If the anxiety continues I would strongly recommend that you speak to your GP. I was diagnosed with clinical depression and anxiety and now take medication to control it. Take care, Richard

Thank you i will talk to him

Hi Kay. Sorry you are feeling so low. I agree totally with Richard but would add that having a chronic illness and worrying about coping with it can also be very tiring and anxiety provoking. What happens if I can't cope when I am out or at work etc.

Look after yourself.

Hi Kay, I too get very low and anxious especially at this time of the year, lack of sunlight ect, I read on one of these blogs about taking vitamin D, a high dosage as it helps with tiredness, I have just got some from amazon so I hope it helps, its not that expensive either, hope this helps you. I'v just started watching the sound of music AGAIN !! Happy new year and hope you feel happier soon.
