getting it at the end of the month
Got mine on Friday. Arm still sore!
Had it today & pneumonia jab (again) - sitting here now arm aching like a lead weight and swollen like a tennis ball (everybody steer clear) as usual shivering and sweating, I always get a reaction for 24-48 hours but it the long run it's well and truly worth it
Karen
Got mine tomorrow.
Can't have mine yet because of antibios.
Getting mine tomorrow .
having mine on thursday but worth it in the end
Had mine on Monday, after starting a cold on Sunday! It's been a rough week and now on ful meds but a much better option than the flu, which put me on life support last year!
Hi Richard,
I have been waiting for my GP to get me a flu jab without egg products as allergic
but went yesterday and they said they now have it in, Although as now have yet another chest infection I cannot have it yet!
we had an appointment for tomorrow, but the BELPER PRACTICE RANG US TO SAY [ OUR SUPPLIER HAS LET US DOWN PLEASE RING IN NOVEMBER} WHAT WENT WRONG THERE THEN.. ANOTHER CUT BACK, thanks NHS
I reckon that was YOUR surgery, not NHS, plenty to go round in other surgeries.
had mine..and my pneu jab too
Had mine last Saturday, sooner the better I always think. My surgery does them every Saturday in October and 1 in November.
I've been going to breathe easy for 8 years, good for all who want the extra contact with people sharing same or other lung condition.
yes i think so too. my brother had his last week, and its in the belper area also ripley surgeries all seem to have it, i would like to know why they havent, supplier let us down seems to weak an excuse, how may suppliers are there for flu vacine, they cant be that many. regards brian
My surgery only do flu clinics can't get to those and they can't make individual appointments have to phone in November. They also say boots do appointments for jabs, so going to try that instead.
Hi There
Apparently there has been a recall of some of the vaccines made by a particular company so there may be a delay in getting flu jabs out.
Apparently the government have a stockpile so hopefully it shouldn't be too bad.
Let us know if you have any problems!
Cheers
Jo
Aaaargh! hope some of the stuff recalled wasn't in my needleful. Only joking, would have had a reaction by now.
Hmm - was due to have mine today , but the Surgery rang me up to say its cancelled until further notice because she has got - wait for it folks - FLUE !!! - oh dear ........Vittorio.
Here in North Norfolk, flu jab day is 7th November!! Having to keep going out amongst other people to an absolute minimum till then =(
Having ours on Saturday. Good job too!xx
had ours 2 wks ago here in Somerset, it made me feel chesty.
