Every time I get out of breath or walk into air conditioned shops or around the freezer area (should be called the sneezer) my nose streams.
I have tissues in the car, in my jeans, in my jacket in my handbag, but when I really need one why can't I find them.
How embarrasing is it when you are trying to pay for your groceries and your nose starts to run and you have to keep sniffing but eventually sniffing doesn't work and it runs anyway.

you are not on your own i also i have same problem and carry a roll of kitchen wipe in my car i have been told it is adrenaline that causes it as it is to do with our flight or fight defences i stop and rest and get breath back under control and breath in through nose and blow out as i am walking hope this helps .I notice that some Olympic athletes had streaming noses when running so were not alone ha ha dave
I have the same thing - whenever I get a bit short of breath it is as though a tap has been turned on!
I was wondering this very thing today and commented about it. We went up to the botanic gardens at Dawyck in the borders. It was a bit of a slog to the top (1100 ft according to my walkmeter) and I was absolutely done in - and my nose was like a tap!!!
i have the same experience but before it starts streaming my nostrils seem to tighten up and find it hard to get the oxygen in through the canulla but i have found putting on a nasal strip before going out really makes a difference, i dont care who sees me out wearing it they usually stare at the oxygen anyway lol
There is a really good nasal spray that helps with runny noses.....can't remember though arrrgggghhhhhh! Stitch is right though, it is often mistaken for a cold but often it is an allergic reaction so antihistamines do help sometimes.
