I have this problem and I'm not in Bangkok , doc told me it's an ALLERGY IN MY HOUSE ,or pollen. I have to find out what I'm allergic to ,the spray and tabs do not work,so I am seeing doc again soon. It's always there blocke d up like a cold,I've even been in hospital for it,no chest infection.

Thank you all for your info re block nose.

The specialist for this has given me examination and ensured me that they will find the problem and resolve it.

I got to pick up the children from school now..... but do have some good news on my copd...I saw the lung doc while I was at the hospital. Who confirmed that my test results was 72.8%...

He said that he put me in the mild stage.....I feel a bit light headed.

Head scan will show if the sinus cavities are blocked. .they can be blocked fir years and if you have a high pain threshold you can have sinusitis without knowing it.

Steroid nasal spray might be the answer or try saline nasal wash (excellent).

Good luck, you don't want infected spores from sinuses to travel through yr pipes to lungs!

Had ex ray scan 3 weeks ago....nothing found.

Got Saline today. .. did you know that you have to warm it a bit before use.

Got Avamys Nasal Spray Suspension. And some other pills. ...They even showed me the correct way of using and it. And done it for me in the hospital.

I'm prying it will go as it worrys me because of my breathing

Yep. I used cooled boiled water. Use Neilmeds saline sachets and container from Amazon. It really helps.

Lots of people have Allergic Rhinitus, the spray helps with that as the steroids help with the inflammation & ease breathing. I'm allergic to mould spores, they're blooming everywhere!

I rinse my sinuses with a saline solution using a neti pot. Might sound gross but it doesn't hurt at all if you get the right water temperature - on the hotter rather than cooler side.

You can get all the info off youtube.

Also no side effects from chemicals.

:-)

Thanks for the info moody girl.

I will let you know how I get on... and hopefully what was the course of it.

It only started when I started to use seretide two months ago.

Anyway I will know.

Avamys worked wonders for me.

Do you know what the course is for your blocked nose....I never had anything like this until this copd... could it be a side effect from the medicine. ..I'm on seretide...????
