ive just been told i have copd got to go for a ct scan as well i dont smoke now but did will my condition worsen

Hopefully I'm giving you good news by saying your condition will only worsen now if you let it ! The modern-day drugs and the help available from your health professionals from here on will go a long way to stabilising the COPD, giving you a bright outlook on the future.
It's good that you've given up the weed, as that is the main cause of a worsening condition. Sad to say, I haven't done that myself yet *gives herself a slap on the wrist*, but I do manage a fairly 'normal' daily life.

Hi Scrappy , prognosis is very mixed , the better you can look after yourself the better , keep as active as you can but rest if you need to , eat healthily and live in a clean environment and you stand a better chance xx. I have had my condition since i was 3 yrs old and am now 57 , i have tried to live a normal life and not give in to the condition unless of course i have had to . I hope you live long and happy xxxxx
