lungs
Hi there, do you mean Chronic Bronchitis - which is one of the COPD lung diseases (the other one being Emphysema) or Bronchiectasis a different lung disease? Sorry, there are quite a few and then each one has different levels from mild to severe. I've got asthma and Small Airways Disease, both moderate levels (I hope) and often get chest infections . My stepfather smoked a pipe in the house but brought up in London, the air wax filthy then not to mention the smogs.
Are you on medication to help?
Hello there, sounds like you may have passive acquired Bronchitis or as they used to call it in the old days, the English winter disease. Hope you are being given suitable medication to keep you well as possible. although pollution is regulated nowadays it wasn't in the past so you have been exposed to passive pollution. I worked in pubs as a cook barmaid , when smoking was allowed . I have always lived on main roads and come from a genetic line of Asthmatics. Alsorts of things can effect your lungs, try to keep as well as can be and avoid crowded places have your injections to keep viruses at bay.
I'm afraid all of us older persons were subjected to loads of pollutants in our youth and the unlucky ones are paying the price now.
