lungs again .

my step-daughter-in-law had cancer 50 years ago . her mother and sister both had the same gene and died with it before her breast cancer developed, soshe had both her breasts removed and still worried too much , so much so that they removed her uterus as reassurance . she has been well since ,then but recently developed persistant problems wih her lungs . it has now been shown that she has cancer i both lungs and is now undergoing investigations . she had two biopsies one went well ,through the mouth, but the second had a significant bleed. this was through the ribs . the one growh is too near to heart and major blood vessels to operate so she will have to rely on chemotherapy.

at least it is being dealt with promptly and is at a good centre- but isnt life unfair . she only had one child and no more after the first diagnosis whereas she would have loved more. i dont know anything about cancer except what i read here, and i do get the information relayed to me by my stepson, but feel so helpless.

So sorry to hear about your step-daughter-in-law. Life is so very unfair at times but let’s hope the doctors can do something to help so she can live a good quality of life for as long as possible.

Thinking of you all and sending hugs. Xx🤗

Very difficult times for your relative especially as she has been through so many procedures to prevent such a diagnosis. I hope with current and on going treatment thing stabilise or improve.

Life can be so unfair can’t it. I really feel for your step daughter and her family. It often seems that if a person gets one condition, many go on to get more. Thinking of you all.

I understand your frustration at the unfairness in life. Unfortunately there’s so little you can do but be supportive. And be kind to yourself too. Best wishes Diane 😘
