My disabled son has to have surgery every 5 years or so and he didn't cope well coming round from the anesthetic, he lashed out at medical staff and had to be restrained. Since then I've made a point of speaking with the anaesthetist each time warning them and it seems to have worked, I think perhaps they adjust the gases? Not sure but he reacts much better now. Good luck with the op. x

Thankyou for the reply I don’t no wot went on last time all the alarms went off a staff went rushing in theatre to him they just said he reacted. To the anaesthetic but was ok after besides sleepy and in pain which we expected that . I thought they would no that’s he’s special needs as it’s all over is notes plus his dentist is a special needs one aswell which I can’t fault she is brilliant with him 😊 I will point this out to them when we go Thankyou xx
