update on grumpy Grampy

hi everyone I haven’t posted for a while but thought I’d update you all. Grumpy Grampy is doing well, he’s off the steroids, after two years. Struggling a little with that, he’s ok if I keep my hands off his neck😉 he’s taking codiene, for the cough which helps a little, well was until the pharmacies can’t get hold of it🤷‍♀️ using oxygen whenever he needs it. Recent scan shows that the PF is getting worse but slowly so that’s good. He also has the inhalers changed via the respiratory nurse. So basically they are doing lots for the emphysema and 6 month checks on the PF.

So again thanks to you all for your support and advice.

Good to know things are improving. A bit disconcerting that the pharmacy can't get hold of codeine.

Tried several independent pharmacies even they are struggling to get hold of it. Fingers crossed it will soon be available. Pharmacist suggested crushing the pills with water🤷‍♀️ not convinced about that one, but waiting on gp to get back to us on that one.

I sympathise/ empathise with your comment on Grumpy Gramp. Couldn't say so before because him indoors was sitting next to me. 😂😂😂
