I get stupid side effects from my Relvar and Incruse inhalers......really annoying to my sinuses and ears so I can sympathise! My new lady consultant wants me to change to Trimbow aerosol inhaler asap, but I read that also causes rhinosinusitis - marvellous!!!! I will give anything a trial though and it might be 3 weeks before my surgery get ththe Instructions in writing from the hospital clinic.....

I refused Trimbow. Germantara - now I am glad I did that. if you keep feeling unwell, talk toyour GP - and see if you can go back to one that suited you. In all the years I have had Asthma/COPD I have never seen so many changes. I have Salmanon, Atrovent and Fostair, I have had one change and that was to Fostair.

I hope you are feeling better soon. if not have a word with GP,

I must say Trimbo like other inhalers don't suit everyone but I'd be lost without Trimbow next

I have just stopped Trimbow I started to get a low heart rate. Infection in my chest and throat felling sick and tummy problems..At first I was ok I just took 2 puffs in the morning and then was told no I must take 2 puffs morning and evening.

GP said does not cause low heart rate. Well sorry I read it can mess with your heart. I stopped 3 days ago, still fell groggy but hope to fell better soon. Never again I don't no why the GP changed to Trimbow I was ok with what I had.

I think you need to talk to your GP. They may want to check whether you have picked up an infection, which is causing the problems. I hope they get to the bottom of it soon. xxx

Hi Germantara,,

I really sympathise with you. They seem to be obsessed with this inhaler.

Since I started taking it, over 2 years ago, I've lost weight, shrunk and my tummy is very acidic.

Doctors say it doesn't go into your bloodstream, only your lungs, but I have read a government report on it, which says different.

I also find it becomes very ineffective as the day goes on. A boost in the morning, plus a few panic attacks to go alongside, and then depletes by about 4 in the afternoon. For some reason, my evening dose has very little effect!

Go with the inhaler that suits you!

I wanted to stay on Spiolta and have Fostair in the morning, but nurse was not allowed to prescribe that! The Doctors seem to know even less!

Hi I was changed from Fostair to Trimbow. A couple of months later I started getting red bruises on my forearm. I am sure its connected but my respiratory nurse said definitely not and its due to age as much as anything else. Buts its spreading and unsightly. Did think of asking for Fostair back to see if it makes a difference.

Don't know if you are getting that too.

me two with the Trimbow. Ear problems and wears off very fast like 3 hours

Stuck with it now 4 months and have decided to go back on spirivia and symbicort or try something new.

But the Trimbow is going. They push it on us because it’s cheap with no concern for our quality of life, I don’t trust doctors and question everything

hi, I’ve I’ve been put on Trimbow a couple of weeks back after 15 years on Sybecort. For me it’s been a godsend so far. No side effects.

Early days though I gotta report back to the Asthma nurse in a couple of weeks after my trial period.
