Tezepelumab. Biologic Injection

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all having the best day you can. I started this monthly biologic injection on Tuesday.

Has anyone else been on this? or any other biologic injection.

If they have how long was it before they noticed a change?

I’m on Xolair, omalizumab. I felt an improvement 2 weeks after the first dose, and after 6 weeks (ie 2 weeks after the second dose) it was amazing! That’s 2 years ago. Unfortunately the bronchiectasis has become a lot more difficult, and with that & EDAC I’m now having a nightmare time. But the asthma - as far as I can tell - is still well controlled, although I need Ventolin a lot because of these other problems.

I think it’d be a good idea to post on the Asthma community. They’re more likely to be on biologics. This one seems to be mainly people with COPD

Oh yes, the Asthma Community forum is separate and just about asthma. Both are part of Asthma+Lung UK. There doesn’t seem to be any chit-chat on the asthma one

Best of luck with your treatment.Yes was on a biological 18 years ago if I remember it was a few weeks on xolair then a noticeable improvement.
