Tezepelumab Injections for Severe Asthma.

Good afternoon everyone, are there any members with severe asthma who have ever been prescribed or who are currently on the above injection to help control this?

I believe the injection would be administered ever 4 weeks and helps to reduce inflammation in the airways?

Hello Joseph. I’m not on this yet but am being considered for it later this year. However the Complex Asthma team at RBH say the eligibility criteria haven’t been decided by NICE yet, they’re still waiting to hear. I’ve been on Xolair for about two years but am no longer getting a good response to it (although I’m still better than pre-Xolair). I’m wondering if this is because I also have severe bronchiectasis & aspergillosis. Who knows 🤷‍♀️

Hi Joseph, I'm on a similar one, Mepolizumab. I've been on a year's trial, which finished last month. It has changed my life and I'm now on it permanently.👌

Hi Joseph,I’m due to have my second dose of Tezepelumab in a week’s time,Apart from a few achy joint’s there have been no side effects and my breathing has slightly improved although I’m still on 30mg pred,I’m under RBH and they said they will start to reduce my steroids after the second dose

My husband has been on it 6 weekly but up to yet it hasn’t worked he’s had about 6 so far.
