Just had my asthma review over the phone with a lovely women she has prescribed me a new inhaler it's like a combination of brown and blue, it's a white and red and I really hope it helps because my asthma is really rubbish at the moment because I constantly sound like I have a cold ❄ I sounded terrible on the phone when she rang 😂.

Hi there -hope this new inhaler works better for you. Im wondering what it is called, i have just been prescribed a different inhaler too after asthma review. I think they are wanting to move patients off the types that have propellants in them that affects the atmosphere. Mine is called Fobumix and start it today, so fingers crossed it works well :)

My inhaler was also changed in my last face to face review, Fostair inhaler has worked well for me which I use through a spacer.

The new inhaler is Fostair NEXThaler which is obviously has the same substance but this I use without a spacer. It’s improved my asthma control over the past 2 months.. thankfully.

I’m now wondering if doing away with the spacer has improved my intake plus learning to relax, do breathing exercises before taking. I’m sure it’s all help in the long run.

Good luck with the new inhaler.
