Love them or hate them, fireworks, displays and bonfires with be happening over this weekend in the UK.

We know they can cause difficulties if you have a lung condition. Below is our website information on fireworks and your lungs.

We stay indoors and aren’t pet owners. We can’t forget 5th November as it’s our daughters birthday. Hoping everyone stays safe and well. Take care all. Xxxx❤️

Surely the suggestion of decorating with candles is contrary to the rest of the advice given? Candles always worsen my symptoms.

I'm not a fan off fire works more so when my dog alive she was tormented for week or two before 5 Nov and couple weeks after she couldn't cope she was very scared I no longer have my dog and still don't like but have no objections to any body else because I know its traditional every year

I did enjoy fireworks in the past, but now that we are, hopefully, more informed about the truly awful suffering of pets, I no longer support or attend these. My late Yorkie was terrified, trembled and ran down my back (!), to the most distant corners of the house, under furniture and was inconsolable. This, despite anti-anxiety drugs beforehand and loud classical music in every room in attempt to drown out firework sounds. ☹️😥
