Feeling a bit low been on this new Trimbow for nearly two months and found it so good for my breathing BUT i am having side affects i think from it for about 2 weeks i have got bad sinus and blocked up nose on one side plus no sense of smell or taste dry mouth, i read leaflet and it says 1 in 100 people get this trust me to be one of the 100, i have had antibiotics had hay fever tabs but nothing is touching it so my resp nurse taking me off it what a shame, hope it clears up because it is driving me mad as not good with oxygen 24/7 and i love my food lol!! anybody else had problems ???

Trimbow
Hi nannyx6 I am on Trimbow and I have been fine. What a shame you have one of the side effects. It works brilliantly, hope you find something that works for you. Love Bernadette 😳 xx
Shame you suffered from side effects. You say it helped with your breathing - did you find it helped with inflammation?
Yes i do not cough as much and my breathing so much better , the only way i can see if this stuffed up nose and loss of smell and taste is to come off and see if it clears
I am sorry to hear that you had side effects especially when it was working. I was hoping to be changed to it but now I am having doubts.
I have been on Trimbo a few weeks i thought it was helping me but im beginning to think i was wrong and im going to ask to try trelegy if possible x
Yes me to a few weeks, why are you thinking of coming off ?
not heard of Trelegy is this new ??
I’m due to start Trelegy. It’s basically Anoro plus a steroid so it works in the same way but has different drugs with similar actions. Its 1 puff once daily which I prefer. It’s also a powder. I have found Anoro highly tolerable but possibly it’s onset of action is more gradual over a 24 hour period.
I thought it was helping but i was on steroids at the time now im not on them im finding i keep feeling sick bad stomach stuffy and my breathing is no better i tjink trelegy is another new one i read some good reports but to be honest i dont think inhalers do me any favours xx
Will keep you updated on what happens and what they put me on the resp nurses not heard of Trelegy had to look it up so i know it wont be this, dont care what it is long as it helps and i can taste and smell food again lol thanks everyone
No its in UK as well its another new one on the market! i saw resp nurse and she said see how i get on with meds i am going to be given then they will transfer me over to Trelegy so you haven't jumped the gun
