should carbocystiene be used as well or should that be stopped. seem to be coughing more!

it takes a while for a new inhaler to work so that could be why you're coughing more. Many many members take carbocysteine along side their inhalers, I certainly do!

You need them both as they do different jobs. They have kept me going for many years, give them a chance to get going.

The Carbocisteine will thin the mucus causing the cough. I dont have a cough but take it daily to keep the mucus at bay. When I have an exacerbation I double the dose. xxSheila 💕⚘

Hi I too coughed a lot more at first with Trimbow but it settled after about a month now I find it much better for me than the Fostair inhaler that I was on, take care 🙂

I agree with all the above. Im also on Trimbow and carbocysteine plus a few other drugs. I am meant to take 2 tabs 4 times aday but I only take 2 in the morning 🫣
