trelegy

I have just been changed from Trimbow to Trelegy. After one day my throat and upper chest is feeling dry and burning and I’m also coughing (I hardly cough usually). Has anyone else found this with the powder inhaler and am I having a reaction to it.? I was changed as I get oral thrush with trimbow but I’m not happy with this trelegy.

I’ve been taking Trelegy Ellipta for more than a year, I think it’s fantastic, better than anything I’ve taken before. Very important though to thoroughly rinse your mouth after use.

I agree with zero , I have been using trelegy ellipta for around a year too and find it good although as has been said you need to rinse mouth after use as I had a sore tongue after I first used it so I make sure I rinse after every use. Hope this helps.

Brilliant stuff. Always have my morning puff with a cup of tea. Never had a problem

I couldn't hack trelegy because as the powder hit the back of my throat I had a severe coughing fit so I was changed to trimbow of which I'm OK on .

I felt very similar, I didn’t like the effect of the dry powder at all. I am staying with trimbow and I’ll deal with the oral thrush and dysphonia as and when I need to.
